William S. Svanoe

William Stephen "Bill" Svanoe, 81, passed away peacefully at home, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. 

Born on November 22, 1943, Bill dedicated much of his life to hard work and family. He built a long and successful career at General Motors, where he worked for 35 years before retiring. 

Beyond his career, Bill found joy in hunting, fishing golf, sports, and reading. Above all, he cherished time spent with friends and loved ones, always valuing the relationships that enriched his life. 

Bill was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where his faith played an important role in his life. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Lynda Svanoe; his son, William S. Svanoe Jr. (Margit Hain Svanoe); his daughter Robin Svanoe Hanks (Dave Hanks); and his grandchildren Kathryne Hanks and Jacob Hanks. He is also survived by his sisters, Catharine Julian (Richard Julian), and Christine Spaziani (Robert Spaziani), as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Svanoe and Lorraine C. Svanoe. 

In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation will take place, and a private service will be held at their convenience.
