Valarie Fraga

July 12, 1967 — February 21, 2025

Valarie Rae Langley, 57, a resident of Bowling Green, KY since 2012 and formerly of Muskegon, was called home to be with the Lord on February 21st, after a tough battle with cancer. She was born in Muskegon, MI to Joseph and Maria Langley. Valarie was of the Catholic religion & attended Muskegon Catholic Central where she was an All-State Cross-Country and track runner.


She was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at the former Brookhaven Nursing Facility in Muskegon, MI. She also volunteered as the Muskegon Catholic Central Cross-Country & Track Coach from 2001-2004. She later became apart of the quality team for ALPLA in Bowling Green, KY. 


She was loved by so many and remembered for her love of her family and the Pittsburgh Steelers, constant laughter, and willingness to help whoever needed it. 


Valarie is survived by her parents Joe and Maria Langley of Muskegon, MI; four children Josephine (Alex) Block, Angel (Dan) Spytma, Michael Miskel all of Muskegon, MI and Monya Fraga of Bowling Green, KY; Her six grandchildren: Ethan, Michael, Mia, Carson, Riley, and another granddaughter due in July; Her brother Joe Langley III of Holton, MI, sister Julie (Dave) Waldvogel of Bowling Green, KY and brother Jared Langley of Muskegon, MI; Several nieces, nephews & cousins. 

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, uncles, sister-in-law Tina and cousin Laurie Jean.
