Tommy Speed

Tommy S. Speed, 52, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away on August 25, 2023. Born on May 15, 1971, in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Tommy was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Tommy was a man who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool, finding solace in the beauty of nature. However, his true passion was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He cherished his role as an uncle and great uncle to several nieces and nephews. Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Shonda Henderson Speed, his daughters Kayla Hendrick and Tiffany Roberts, his grandchildren Chloe Dickens, Millie Hendrick, and Kailar Henderson, as well as his mother Kieuloan Speed. He also leaves behind his brother Michael Speed and sister Martha Jordan who will miss him dearly. Tommy is preceded in death by his father, James Edward Speed. Visitation will be held at Broadway United Methodist Church, located at 1323 Melrose Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 5pm to 8pm. Cone Funeral Home will conduct the cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky or the Medical Center Oncology. Tommy S. Speed will be remembered for his love for his family and his warm and caring nature. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
