Timothy Manion

d. February 23, 2019

Timothy B. Manion November 12, 1956 to February 23, 2019 Timothy Blaine Manion passed away on Saturday, February 23rd at 62 years of age in Bowling Green, Kentucky with his family and dear friends by his side. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 39 years, Lisa Manion, his beloved daughter, Chessa Manion, his granddaughter, Lilian Quinn Rose, all of whom hold him dear to their hearts and miss him every day. He is also survived by his siblings, Mrs. Debbie (Mike) Ford of Smithfield, Illinois, Patricia (Doug) Schmidt of Cuba, Illinois, and William (Rexanne) Manion of Galveston, Texas, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews who also dearly loved Tim. It has been a favorite pastime of his friends and family to hear Tim tell stories of his travels, the people he's met, and the mischief he loved to get in to. Tim was a Polymer Scientist, a Plastic's and Chemical Engineer, receiving his Associate's degree in his 20's and going on to develop innovative products and improving processes for companies like Ford, Chrysler, MTD Products, Mattel, and many more. He and his wife built Ferari Group, a company that took them throughout Asia and Europe. Tim always referred to himself as a Travelin' Man and loved the people, places, and cultures he came across. He had a true appreciation and showed kindness to every human he met. Friends like Bobby and JC Mosely and Damien and Shelley Thurman, with whom he shared his love of music and deep friendship. Tim's life was spent in music and laughter with those he loved and cherished. He was a very talented musician and loved hosting karaoke parties with his friends and family. His laugh was contagious, and his sense of humor, enormous. . . His parents, Gordon Blaine and Rosanna June Manion, now deceased, were proud parents. They were also where he drew his stellar character from, as they also gave dignity to all they came across and treated others the way that they wanted to be treated. Tim was a man of Faith, and very confident in a future time where he would see his loved ones again under much better circumstances and with good health and laughter. A private family Memorial will be held later this Spring.
