Theresa Belt

Theresa Ann Belt, 81 of Bowling Green, Ky died January 11, 2023, at the Hospice House of Southern Ky. The St. Louis, MO native was the daughter of the late Steve Strini and Mary Oswald Strini. Mrs. Belt’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be scheduled in Bowling Green at a later date. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Belt Sr. and her sister and brothers: Mary Viefhaus, Steve Strini and Richard Strini. Theresa is survived by her children: Ralph Belt (Linda), Escobedo Belt, MaryEtta Vaughan (Scott Ford) and Eric Belt as well as her grandchildren: Rachel Vaughan, Lorraine Vaughan, Derek Vaughan, Katarina Belt and Kelsey Belt. Other survivors include her sisters: Doloros Millering and Eleanor Parker; several nieces and nephews and her special dog, Abby. Theresa served her community all throughout her life. She began her career in public service as an EMT and paramedic in the Big River Ambulance District, Missouri before coming to Bowling Green. She was a surgical tech at Greenview Hospital before she retired after 20 years. Theresa took wonderful care of her family and cherished her friendships. She loved painting, attending plays, playing cards and board games and the St. Louis Cardinals. She especially loved her church family at Bowling Green Christian Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice House of Southern Ky. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements.
