Sue Theis

Sue Watkins Theis, 79, of Bowling Green, KY, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2025, at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care in Scottsville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Theis, her brother Charles Watkins, and her sister Wilda Lindsey. She is survived by her son David Theis, her granddaughter Ashley Nacquin, and several loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sue was a graduate of Allen County High School in Scottsville, KY. She also attended Western Kentucky University. Before retiring, she was the secretary for Calvary Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY, where she was an active member, teaching Sunday School and leading mission programs.

Instead of attending a funeral or visitation, everyone who knew her is encouraged to creatively find the individual ways that best suit them for honoring her passing and remembering the life she led.
