Stanley H. Smith Stanley H. Smith, age 80 of Bowling Green, was Promoted to Glory on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Medical Center. He was Semi Driver and ""Once A Trucker, Always A Trucker"" and that he was until the very end. Shifting those gears and keeping those wheels a rolling. Rest now Driver, you have reached your final destination and made it thru those Pearly Gates to your loving wife, the late Martha White Smith. Stanley was born in Barren County to the late Wiley Smith and Grace Carver Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife and four sisters and five brothers. Stanley is survived by a daughter: Deborah Keown, a son: Keith ""Tyrone"" Keown, a grandson: Joshua Jones, two granddaughters: Ashley (Robert) McNeese and Leslie Keown, and a great grandson: Nathaniel McNeese. Stanley is also survived by his four sisters: ""Pearl"" Katherine Eicher, Janet England, Carolyn (Ron) Frint, Linda White and several loving nieces and nephews and a true forever friend, Carl Foster. The visitation will be held Sunday October 1, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane). The service that will celebrate Stanley's life will be held Monday October 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Cone Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green.
