Somrhut ""Sam Jr. "" Phan, 29 of Glasgow, KY suddenly passed away in the morning hours of January 30, 2020 in Bowling Green, KY. To know Sam was to love him. He was full of life, creative, artistic, and incredibly comical. He had a big heart and loved to brighten anyone's day with a smile or a joke. He was preceded in death by his sister, Soktheara Suy, maternal and paternal grandparents. The Stockton, CA native was born June 1, 1990 to parents Sarom Phan of Washington and Sokhom Suy of Bowling Green, KY. Besides his parents he is survived by four sisters: Sokhan ""Cathy"" Phan, Sophan ""Molly"" Phan ,Sokthearany ""Rany"" Phan, all of Bowling Green, KY, Sokphearom ""Sonia"" Phan of Washington, one brother Somrhet ""Anthony"" Phan of Washington and a niece Nhallah Tikhal Bard of Bowling Green,KY. He also leaves behind long-time girlfriend, Rebecca Walker and her four daughters: Raven Walker, Melayha Walker, Journee Walker and Greenlea Terry all of Glasgow, KY. Family was important to Sam and he will be greatly missed by many relatives including several Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends whom he considered family. The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service being held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. in the chapel at Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY. ) With visitation start at 11:00 a. m.
