Sharon McFarland

Sharon F. McFarland, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away, peacefully, on December 9, 2023, in Bowling Green, KY, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born February, 17, 1964, in Bowling Green, KY, to the late Emma Lou Wainscott and Joseph Henry McFarland.

Sharon was a loving and devoted mother to her daughters: Crystal Santos, Cindy Miller, and to her sons: Jeremy Thompson (Rachel), Gary Wayne Thompson, Jr. (Ashley) and Randy Thompson. She, also, cherished her role as a grandmother to: Destiny, Kaili, Jaden, Tyler, Hunter, Amber, Jeremy, Grayson, Karter, Caleb, and Chad, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In her free time, Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, crafting and candle making. She had a creative spirit and found joy in expressing herself through these hobbies.

Sharon is survived by her siblings: Joseph McFarland, Betty McFarland, Amanda Havener and Tiffany Harrison. She is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas McFarland and her sister, Ruby McFarland.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her family and friends and her memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Sharon's life and legacy.
