Sammy Neighbors

Sammy E. Neighbors age 66 of Bowling Green passed away June 7, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. He served in the U. S. Navy aboard the U. S. S. America. He worked for Hines on the river barges, and for many years worked for Sun Products. Sammy loved Nascar #3. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents: E. B. Young and Eva Jane Young Edgar, his paternal grandparents: Sam and Nellie Gregory Neighbors and his parents: James David Neighbors and Billie Jean Neighbors Young . Sammy is survived by his two daughters: Mindy (Eddie) Hockenbury of Bowling Green, KY and Jamie (Chad) Curtis of Bowling Green, KY along with his two granddaughters: Cadence Curtis and Lily Bea Curtis. He is also survived by his sister: JoAnn (Eddie) Morgan of Bowling Green, KY along with other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation for Sammy will be held Sunday June 10, 2018 from 1 PM until 5 PM at the Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM On Monday June 11, 2018 at the Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY.
