In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas C. Brewington and Janet Miller (Brewington). He is survived by his niece, Elizabeth Faught (Ryan) of Owensboro, nephews, Jacob Paul Miller and Joshua Thomas Miller (Sheena Webb) of Bowling Green; five great nephews and one great niece, Samuel A. Faught, Brennan L. Faught, Sara C. Faught of Owensboro, Jacob Paul Riley Miller, Peyton Eli Miller, and Carson Thomas Miller of Bowling Green; sister-in-law, Tanitha Brewington, and many cousins. Bob had a heart for service. He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Army where he served our country as a medical/surgical tech for 20 years. During his military career, he was stationed all over the world. His favorite place was Japan. He’d often reminisce on the beauty and culture of Japan. He also enjoyed his station in Honduras. He always had stories to share about his adventures. In addition to serving our country, he loved and served his family. Bob was always there to help during challenging times and to laugh with you during the joyous times. He was slow to speak and willing to listen to understand. In all that Bob did for others he never sought recognition. Bob’s favorite hobbies included collecting coins, antiques and feeding the squirrels at the park. He was once on the Antiques Road Show with some of his pieces. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Rockfield Church for many years. He loved and served his church. A private graveside service will be held. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the First Baptist Rockfield Church, P. O. Box 128, Rockfield, KY 42274. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Please note the memorial tree links do not connect to a local arborist in Bowling Green, KY.
