Roberta Reese

Roberta Reese Age 80 of Bowling Green, KY died Monday November 7. 2016 at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green. KY. She was born August 4, 1936 and went to live in heaven on Monday November 7, 2016. She leaves her loved ones to join her later. They are two sons: Jim (Karen) and Mike Riggsbee, and one daughter: Melody Jewell (Lewis) Burns; all of Bowling Green, KY. Roberta also leaves four grandchildren: Luke and Matt Burns, Sarah Burns and Chrissy (David) White; all of Bowling Green, KY, three great grandsons: Jacob Burns, Dylan and Mason White: all of Bowling Green, KY, one great granddaughter: Jamie Lou Burns of Bowling Green, KY. Roberta also leaves two brothers: Steve Williams of Cookville, TN and Roger Williams of Lithonia, GA. , two sisters: Dian (David) Boles of Cookville, TN and Connie Poff of Clarksville, TN along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents: Bob and Jewell Williams and one brother: Tommy Williams. Known affectionately as ""Mrs. Bert"" she moved to Tansi, TN in 1996. She and her husband Leon were active in the Tansi P. O. A. Leon died on July 20 2008. They had been married 16 years. ""Mrs. Bert"" was manager at Tansi Marina for 15 years, she also served as a hostess to the Lake Tansi Country Club for 9 years. She was loved by all residents and regular out of town visitors. We will all miss her. The visitation for Roberta will be held Thursday November 10, 2016 at the Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane Bowling Green, KY) from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and also on Friday November 11, 2016, from 9:00 am until the time of service. The funeral celebrating Roberta's life will be Friday November 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Cone Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cone Funeral Home (270-904-4201)
