Richard "Rick" Rogers, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on August 27, 2024 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, at the age of 61. Born on December 7, 1962, in El Paso, Texas Rick's life was marked by dedication, hard work, and a genuine love for his family and community.

Rick began his career as a Home Care Nurses Aide during his young adulthood, demonstrating an early commitment to serving others. His professional journey later took him into the construction field, where he worked alongside his brother-in-law at Freedom Construction. Rick found fulfillment in his role as a Licensed Pool Engineer with the Town of Windsor, Colorado, where he contributed to the Parks and Recreation department until his retirement in 2021. He then relocated to Murfreesboro Tennessee. 

Rick was known not only for his work ethic but also for his passionate interests outside of work. He found joy in fishing and watching movies, activities that he often shared with his family and friends, reinforcing the bonds that mattered most to him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Liz Rogers, and their two sons, Justin and Jacob Rogers. Additionally, Rick leaves behind his parents, Rudy and Mary Holnaider, an extensive network of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory and the moments they shared together.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rogers Sr., and his brother, Marc D. Holnaider. Their memories will live on in the stories of love and laughter that Rick shared with those around him.

Rick's legacy is one of service, family, and unwavering friendship. His kind spirit and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
