Porter Carrender

In memory of Porter G. Carrender Jr. also known as ‘Pete’. Porter G. Carrender Jr. wasborn December 26, 1952 to the late Porter G. Carrender Sr. (1995) and Donna FrancisCarrender (1999). Mr. Carrender at the age of 70 passed away October 23, 2023. He resided inRussellvile Kentucky where he lived with his baby sister. He graduated from Western KentuckyUniversity with a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Carrender had retired from LoganAluminum after 20 years. He was hardworking and a provider for his loved ones. He could tellyou stories of his life for hours. He was passionate about Bowling and had a love for golfingwith his friends. He was an avid cat lover along with the occasional raccoon. If you knew Pete,then you knew him to be the most honest and dependable man. He was funny without trying andquick witted. He will be remembered by his family for lifetimes to come.

Porter G. Carrender Jr. is survived by his brother Wayne Carrender and his wife DeniseCarrender of Bowling Green, Kentucky. His sister Tracy Carrender of Russellville, Kentucky.His nephew Zachary Arnold and wife Bethany Arnold of Auburn, Kentucky. His niece SamanthaJ. Vysa and significant other Jeremy Heuck of Franklin, Kentucky. He had six great nephews andnieces that he treated like his own grandchildren; Wyatt Vysa, Annalyn Vysa, Gunner Heuck,Augustus Arnold, Cara Reese Vysa (Carabean), and Boston Arnold.

Although he leaves behind those who loved him, he is rejoined with his family that hasalready passed. He made an impression on all the lives he has touched and the family he leavesbehind will always hold his memory in their hearts.

The family will be holding a wake tocelebrate their loved one. If you would like to join the family to honor Porter G. Carrender Jr.please join them at Preston Miller Park from 10AM to 2PM, Saturday, October 28th, 2023.
