Patsy Lashley

Patsy Faye Lashley, age 73, of Franklin, KY died Monday September 10, 2018, surrounded by her family, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Patsy was born September 18, 1944 in Bowling Green, Kentucky; a daughter of the late Bud Coy Eakles and Mabel Eakles-Spears. On March 28, 1970, she married Don Lashley in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents: Bud and Mabel Connor Eakles-Spears, her brother William Coy Eakles, her sister: Virginia Russell, her brother Paul Damon Spears and her brother-in-law: Mike Hudson. Patsy was a Christian woman who was a member of the Girls Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She loved to dance and especially loved Elvis. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. Patsy is survived by her husband: Don Lashley of Franklin, Kentucky, her three children: Tammy Miller of Gillette, Wyoming, Betty Sue (Mike) Bulez of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Danny (Erin) Lashley of Kingsland, Georgia. Patsy is also survived by her five grandchildren: Bud Miller, Matthew Gadd, and Skkylar Gadd, Zoedokota Gadd; all of Gillette, Wyoming, and David Lashley of Kingsland, Georgia. Patsy also has seven brothers and sisters: Charles (Diana) Eakles of Brownsville, Kentucky, David (Barbara) Eakles of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Elaine (Mike) Goad of Bowling Green Kentucky, Carl (Deserise) Eakles of Franklin, Kentucky, Monta (Debbie) Cherry of Franklin, Kentucky, Sue Hudson of Salisbury, North Carolina, Dale (Dee) Milton of Round Hill, Kentucky along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Oct. 13, 2018 at 303 Clearfolk Church Spur Rd, Rockfield, Ky 42274. The Cone Funeral Home (270-904-4201) is serving the family.
