Nancy Ramey

Nancy Lee (Rogers) Ramey, 79, loving mother of three children, died July 31, 2021, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Bowling Green, KY. Nancy was born on September 19, 1941, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Johnny and Shirley Ellen (Boothby) Rogers. Nancy graduated from Monon High School and married James E. Ramey, Jr. , of Francesville, IN, in 1959. In 1971 they moved to Bowling Green, KY where they raised their three sons. Ms. Ramey is survived by her sister; Mary, her three sons; James E. Ramey, III (Cathy Hiott Ramey) of Walterboro, SC, Mark A Ramey (Patty Karnatz Ramey) of Avon Lake, OH, and Brad L. Ramey (Sandy Szabo Ramey) of New Braunfels, TX, along with eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Nancy was an active member of Broadway United Methodist Church where she participated routinely supporting Youth Group activities, the Little Angels Attic, and several Emmaus Walks. She loved photography, knitting, scrap booking, and Sock Monkeys. A Memorial Service for Ms. Ramey will be held at Broadway United Methodist Church (1323 Melrose Street, Bowling Green, KY) on August 28, 2021. The visitation will begin at 3:30 PM, with the Memorial Service beginning at 5:30 PM.
