Michelle Sterchi

Michelle Ann Sterchi Michelle Ann Sterchi, 62, passed away at home Sunday, May 14, 2017. She was born December 14, 1954 in Lexington, KY. She spent much of her childhood living in Louisville, KY, and graduated from Jeffersontown High School. She briefly attended the University of Kentucky, before transferring to Kentucky Wesleyan College to complete her Associates in Nursing. She served the Bowling Green community as a nurse for three decades. Over her long years nursing at Greenview Hospital, she worked in several areas, including orthopedics, patient education, and intensive care. She also worked for Hosparus for a time before her retirement, helping provide end of life care to people across southern Kentucky. She was an avid reader, a jewelry maker, and enjoyed genealogy. She is survived by son Wesley Skinner; grandson Alexander Skinner; brother Donald Sterchi; brothers-in-law Craig Skinner, Milton Skinner, and Brad Skinner; sisters-in-law Penny Sterchi, Pam Skinner, Darlene Skinner, and Debby Skinner; and daughter-in-law Bethany Skinner. Memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bowling Green on Friday, May 26th at 2:00 PM.
