Michael Doolin, 39, of Bowling Green, KY, was born to Harold and Hilda Doolin on October 31, 1982, in Russellville, KY, and died suddenly on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Bowling Green. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Kelvin Edmunds, and his paternal grandparents, Basil and Gladys Doolin, as well as several aunts and uncles. Michael is survived by JaToyri Doolin, his high school sweetheart since they were 16 years old, and wife of nearly twenty years, married on August 31, 2002, their son, Malaki Doolin, and their bonus son, Guillermo Gonzalaz-Valladres. He is survived by his parents, Harold Doolin and Hilda Doolin; his sisters, Patricia (Carl) Hannenberg, Debra Doolin of Chicago, and Kim (Bryan) Griffin; brother-in-law Kee (Courtney) Edmunds of Bowling Green; and his mother-in-law, Marchelle Edmunds of Glasgow. Michael is also survived by his aunts and an uncle, Irene Miller, Judy Doolin, and James Doolin; nephews Kyle, Kayden, Jaxson and Kolby, nieces Melissa, Meshaila, Oreana, Ashani, and Cali; great-nephews Sawyer, Zay, King, Zyaire, Finn, and Trasyn; great niece Violet, and a goddaughter, Michigan. Michael was known for his giving heart and never turned away a stranger in need. Michael loved cooking, hosting parties, and bringing everyone together. He deeply loved his wife, son, and family. He was a hard worker, who spent 14 years as a facilities manager for Aramark before starting his own business, Doolin’s Lawn & Landscape, last year. His unexpected death leaves a hole in the family that will be impossible to fill. He will be greatly missed. Michael’s life will be celebrated with a visitation and memorial service on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the funeral home. The visitation is from 2 PM – 6 PM with the memorial service to begin at 6 PM.
