Melvin Anthony

United States Marine, Melvin Wayne Anthony, also known as Hollywood, to his family and friends was born January 15,1958, in Louisville, Kentucky. Sadly, he passed away November 04, 2023, in Bowling Green, Kentucky at The Medical Center. He was 65 years of age.    

Melvin was preceded in death by his father Harry Anthony, and a sister Elaine Anthony Bradshaw.

Hollywood leaves behind two children, Melanie Reed and Santonio Reed; two stepdaughters, Morgan Reed and Jamie Osei; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Basketball was his passion and favorite thing to do. He graduated with a scholarship to play basketball for a Community College in Harrisburg, Illinois. While in college he won the prettiest leg contest. Other hobbies include guitar, cars, and he was a pool shark.
