Melba Hardison

Melba Hardison of Bowling Green, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Tuesday September 6, 2022. She was 65 years old. Born to the late James and Fannie Harper Gillihan, Melba is also preceded in death by her siblings Debbie Likens, James Gillihan and Bubba Gillihan. She is survived by her loving children Celina Wilburn, Shane Hammer (LaDora), Michael Hammer (Tiffany); her cherished grandchildren Matthew, Lindsey, Alissa, Shawna, Kaylyn, Mishell, Chaz, Cadin, Caleb, Bella, Nikolai, Alexis, Jerry, Emily, Anton; precious great-grandchildren Caisen, Ivy, Addison, Elijah, Cane, Aliviah, Jahzeil; her dear siblings Linda Sharpe, Beverly Cardwell (Ray) & Randy Gillihan. Melba is remembered for her compassionate and free-spirited nature. She never met a stranger and everyone was always welcome in her home. Always ready to help her family, Melba devoted her time to them faithfully. She loved to make gift bags for the children to always have a gift during special occasions and Melba loved to celebrate Christmas with her family. She always brought a smile to anyone she met. Melba will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Cone Funeral Home are honored to serve the family during this difficult time. Cremation was chosen and a Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 beginning at 1:00 p. m. until 5:00 p. m. at Rockn B Farms, 765 Richpond Rockfield Rd. , Rockfield, KY 42276.
