Marilyn Speer

Mrs. Marilyn Sue Speer, age 83, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her residence.

The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements.

Marilyn’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Marilyn was born October 24, 1939, in Campbellsville, KY to the late William Gilbert Graham and the late Christine Bradley Malone Graham. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Graham and Jerry Graham.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Donald E. Speer; one son, Lonnie E. Speer (Tina) of Bowling Green, KY; three grandchildren, Jessica Jordan (Josh) of Bowling Green, KY, Stefanie King (Kody) of Bowling Green, KY, Nicholas Speer (Emily) of Bowling Green, KY; eight great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Jordan, Lorelei Jordan, Levi Jordan, Ernest King, Walter King, Graham Speer, Finley Speer, Larson Speer; sister, Rachel Curry of Campbellsville, KY; two sister-in-laws, Nellie Graham of Glasgow, KY, Myna Graham of Campbellsville, KY; many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Marilyn was a member of Plum Springs Baptist Church and was a Hairdresser for 30 plus years. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, and painting. She loved spending time with her family.
