Marie “Therese” LeVasseur, 84, avid gardener, gourmet cook and seamstress, went to be with her Lord on September 14, 2020 in Bowling Green, KY. Therese is survived by her husband of 64 years, John LeVasseur of Bowling Green KY; three daughters, Monica (Mike) Gill of Bowling Green, KY; Patty (Harry) Williams of Bowling Green, KY; and Deborah (Steve) Epstein of Irvine, CA; Grandchildren Kristen Emberton, Jonathan Gill, Jared Williams, and Justin Williams, all of Bowling Green, KY; and Christeen Petersen and Cody Epstein of Irvine, CA. Therese is also survived by two great grandchildren, Ava Emberton and Ryker Blum of Bowling Green, KY; two siblings Marie Lapierre and Tony Marmol with several nieces and nephews all in France. Therese was born on February 8, 1936 in Rabat, French Morocco, North Africa, one of 6 children born to Josef and Josephine Marmol, who predecease her. Therese and John met in French Morocco where John was stationed in the Air Force, before eventually moving to the USA where they lived in several states before moving to Bowling Green in 2018. Therese loved her family above all else! She always loved to help others, befriended people in need and went to great lengths to help them. She also taught Nutritional Healing as a mission. Therese’s big heart and willingness to help others was a great gift that will be missed by all who know and love her. A private family ceremony will be held to honor Therese.
