Margery Ford

Margery Whitehead Ford, 95, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Centertown native was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Nola Whitehead, her husband, Charles William Ford, a special daughter-in-law, Sandra Young Ford, a grandson, Brian Keith Mahaney, and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by two children, Glenn Ford and Donna Mahaney (David); five grandchildren, Leslie Plumlee (Mitchell), Andrea Ford, Brent Mahaney, Wendy Keith (Gerald), Jill Justice (Shawn); two brothers, Tony Whitehead (Flora, IL), J. R. Whitehead (Greenville, KY); and six great grandchildren. Margery was retired from Holley/Colt Industries and enjoyed many later years reading, painting, working crossword puzzles, and watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball. Visitation will be January 15, 2019 from 10am-12pm at Central Grove Baptist Church in Centertown, KY, followed by a memorial service at 12 pm. The interment will be immediately following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cone Funeral Home.
