Lynda Diane Hass, born on February 8, 1949, in Fargo, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Throughout her life, Lynda brought joy and warmth to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lynda's journey took her from her childhood in Fargo to the beautiful landscapes of Kentucky, where she built a fulfilling career as a sales associate for WalMart, dedicating over 30 years to her role. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her love for her family and her many hobbies. Lynda found happiness in crafting, baking, and gardening, often infusing her home with the fruits of her labor. Traveling was a passion of hers, and she cherished the moments spent exploring new places alongside her loved ones.

Family was at the core of Lynda’s heart. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Hass, whom she married March 1st, 1981, in Valley City, North Dakota. Together, they shared a life filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Lynda is also survived by her four children: Stacy Parizek of Bismarck, ND; Stefanie Jorgensen of Scottsville, KY; and B.J. Hass of Bowling Green, KY; as well as her son Brandon Hass of Bowling Green, KY. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tony Humbert and Erin Marr of Scottsville, KY; Tanner Buchholz of Bismarck, ND; Jetah Opdahl and Anthony Belzer of Garrison, ND; and Kyndall, Raina, and Brynlyn Hass of Bowling Green, KY. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Everleigh Marr of Scottsville, KY.

Lynda cherished her relationships with her sister, Barbara Nelson, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will remember her fondly.

Lynda was preceded by her parents, Severn and Beulah Alderman Nelson, her son Shannon Lee Buchholz, her grandson Christopher Allen Buchholz, and her brother Ric Nelson. Their memories will forever remain in her heart.

As we celebrate the life of Lynda Diane Hass, we remember a woman who lived fully, touched many lives, and whose spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be truly missed and will stay in our hearts forever.

A special thank you to Hospice of Southern Kentucky who helped our cherished loved one and family through this difficult time.
