Lola Baker, beloved matriarch, devoted mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024 at Magnolia Village. She was born on November 14 1925, in Franklin, Tennessee. Lola enjoyed a fulfilling career with the Nashville Telephone Company before dedicating herself to her family as a housewife in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

A proud graduate of Franklin High School, where she shined as a cheerleader, Lola carried the spirit of cheer and support throughout her life. She was cherished by those fortunate enough to know her, particularly her children. Lola is survived by her daughter, Judy Maier (Kurt), and adored her grandchildren: Taylor Hughey, Katie Durr (Greg), Mark Maier (Cole), Cole Maier (Christie), Kelly James (Chad), Kristy Crouch (Gordon), and John Reeder. Lola's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, including Kendall, Skyler, Nora, Carter, Madi, Bo, Hampton, Mac, Riley, Jake, Claire, Jameson, and Graeme.

Lola's love and devotion to her family were unparalleled. Her heart was forever dedicated to caring for her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that they will cherish dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, John Raymond Reeder (Janet), and her cherished parents, Myrtle Brannon and John Atwood Vaughn Sr., as well as her grandson, Thomas Clay Holderfield II (living companion Brandy).

Lola will be remembered for her abundant warmth, guidance, and loving nature. She lived a big life that we were fortunate to be a part of. She was a great example of how to live big and love big while dancing her way to Heaven. Friends and family are invited to honor her life at the graveside service scheduled for October 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM, taking place at Fairview Cemetery located at 1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103.
