Linda Blythe

Linda Blythe, age 77, passed away peacefully at Greenview Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 29, 2021. The Mt. Vernon, Indiana native was born July 17, 1944, to the late Betty Jane and Edmund Andrew Stallman. Linda was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and delighted in raising her two children while serving as the accountant for the family businesses, Quality Mailing Systems and Blythe Auto Sales. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren. She also cared diligently for her husband, Jim, while he battled with Alzheimer’s and was with him until his passing just two weeks before hers. Linda enjoyed reading mysteries and gardening. Her spring flowers were absolutely delightful, especially her daisies. Mrs. Blythe was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jim, as well as her brother, Tom Stallman. She is survived by two children; Valerie Haley (Rick) and Alan Blythe (Ann-Marie), five grandsons; Matthew Haley, Austin, Connor, Dalton, and Evan Blythe. She is also survived by one brother, Bob Stallman (Vicki) of Naperville, IL, and one sister, Mary Beth Rush of Evansville, IN, along with several nieces and nephews. Cremation was chosen with a Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Cone Funeral Home. There will be a visitation from 1:00 p. m. to 3:00 p. m. with the Memorial Service at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to: Mt.
