Leroy Kenneth Tabor

Leroy Kenneth "Ken" Tabor, 85, of Bowling Green passed at 4:14 AM March 28, 2025. The Smiths Grove native was born June 27, 1939. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Preston Tabor and Mabel M. Tabor, and his son; Bryant D. Carter, and his brother; Bobby P. Tabor also. 

He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Sue LaMastus Carter Tabor. His sister Patsy Dennison and her daughter, Nancy L. Lucas of Leitchfield. His children, Jonathan L. (Connie) of Russellville, David L. (Debbie) Carter of Alvaton, Donna K. Tabor (Junior) Pardue of Scottsville, Robert T. (Linda) Carter of Bowling Green, and Rhonda L. Tabor (James) Cecil of Evansville, Indiana. 

He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. There was no bigger fan at any of their ball games or occasions than Ken. 

He was a longtime member of New Hope Full Gospel Church of Alvaton. He loved his Lord and Savior and loved to sing his church songs. He also loved fishing and was very good at it. He was a very skilled handyman that could do any job on a house and did many times for himself and his children. He was a teacher of these skills as well and taught his kids to do things for themselves and have courage to try out new skills. 

He worked mainly in the construction traded earlier in life and used those skills to become the Maintenance Manager for Cedargate Apartments at the end of his working career. 

He will be missed by all but especially by all of the little ones that loved to climb up in "Grandpa Tabor's" lap. All kids loved him.
