Lenny Russell

Lenny Russell, 58 of Bowling Green died February 20, 2023, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. The Warren County native was the son of the late Joe Russell and Barbara Mills Russell who survives. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Russell. Funeral services for Lenny Russell will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 2 pm in the chapel of Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with burial to follow in Cherry Chapel Cemetery (4505 Threlkel Ferry Road in the Richardsville community). Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 am Friday until time of service. Lenny is survived by his daughter, Ashley Costello (Chris); one grandson, Cassidy Long and his brother, Denny Russell (Linda). Other survivors include his nieces, Janice Juarbe (Michael), Ava Juarbe and Chloie Juarbe as well as his nephew, Tyler Russell (Payton) and his children: Charlotte and Collins and Joseph Russell (Tabatha) and his daughter, Lailah. Lenny was a loving father, grandfather and uncle who took care of a lot of people and had many friends. He was a farmer and especially enjoyed working with his horses and cattle. He also enjoyed his race car. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Simpson County Animal Shelter in Franklin Ky. in his name.
