Larry Nanney

Larry N. Nanney Age 80 of Rockfield, KY passed away Monday September 19, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Larry was born in Bells, TN on August 30, 1936, a son of Marvin and Clara Frances Nanney. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and Army. Larry served in the U. S. Air Force in the Korean War, 1952-1954, then as a U. S. Army 11th Airborne Div. Paratrooper in Europe 1954-1957, and again in the U. S. Air Force in the 839th Tactical Air Command, 1959 to 1962. He received the Korean Service UN Ribbon being under the Far East Command. Larry was honored as a Kentucky Colonel and is a proud member of the American Legion Post #23 in Bowling Green, KY. Larry is survived by his daughter: Rhonda Bartley Roye of Rockfield, KY, a son: Jay Madison of Bowling Green, KY, a sister: Jan Dugger of Memphis, TN, his wife Billie, three Step children, along with other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at the Cone Funeral Home Chapel (1510 Campbell Lane) on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. An ""Honor Ceremony"" will be held at 3:00 PM during the visitation hours. Please come and share memories of Larry during this visitation time.
