Keith Washington, Sr

Keith Delmar Washington Sr. “Awesome”, 58 of Bowling Green, KY died Monday, December 14, 2020 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky after a long battle with cancer. Keith was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Eddie George Washington, Sr and Patricia Ann Washington. Keith attended Pershing High School then later Wayne State University and University of Phoenix. At a young age he did his country proud and decided to join the U. S Marines. After serving, he retired from UPS as a supervisor and Kapstone Logistics. “Awesome” was preceded in death by his two brothers: Samuel Washington and Omar Ruffin. He enjoyed sports like bowling and golfing and loved traveling the world but most of all he enjoyed his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Nafisah Washington of Bowling Green, KY and leaves behind two children: Keith Washington Jr, Detroit, MI, and Ashley Washington of Nashville, TN and one grandchild, Alex Washington of Detroit, MI; six brothers: Eddie Washington (Ladonia), Mose Washington (Charlene), Sandon Washington (Eugenia), Frank Washington, Tremaine Washington and Wendall Davidson and one sister: Darrelyn Washington. Several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces also survive. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with the arrangements. No public services are scheduled at this time. The family would like to thank everyone for the great comfort given during our sorrow by the expressions of sympathy conveyed to us in so many ways.
