Kathleen Tippit

Kathleen Tippit, age 78, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Sunday, May 9th 2021 at the Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green. Kathleen was born June 9th 1942 in Mecklenburg, NC to the late William Moores and the late Kathleen Mummery Moores. She was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Burnes. She is survived by her two sons, Bo Burns (Julie) of Bowling Green, KY, and Mike Burns of Lilburn, GA, sister, Judy Moores of Charlotte, NC, daughter-in-law, Sarah Burns of Atlanta, GA, grandsons, Jimmy and Sam Burns, of Bowling Green, KY. Kathleen loved playing bridge and her dog Charlie. A Celebration of life Service will be set at a later date. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements.
