Mrs. Kara Dawn Saltsman Sexton, age 53, of Bowling Green, KY and formally of Glasgow, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. Kara was born January 29, 1968, in Glasgow, KY to the late Roscoe and Glynn Pardue Saltsman. She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Joseph Sexton; daughter, Crystal Shepherd (Derek) of Glasgow, KY; sisters, Beth Saltsman (Jimmy Vibbert) of Glasgow, KY and Lori Jones (Scotty) of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Skyler Milstead, Audrey, Bella and Jaxon Shepherd; nieces, Whitney Brown, Madison and Blair Correll. Kara was a member at Lick Branch Presbyterian Church in Glasgow, KY. She had such a love for God and had an extraordinary amount of faith. Kara was a Registered Nurse and loved helping people. Kara had a love for being outdoors. She loved to fish, hunt, and go horseback riding. She loved to travel and watch the beautiful sunsets God painted in the sky. She loved her family, friends and loved cuddling up to her sweet dogs, Peanut and Gidget. She was an inspiration to so many and will be missed dearly. Heaven is rejoicing. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. There will be no public service. A private family service will be held on their farm.
