Julia Ground

Julia Ellen Ground Age 71 of Bowling Green, KY passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday September 29, 2016. Julia was born on November 23, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter of Elmer Howard and Lona Young. On January 26, 1980 she married Michael Ground in Bowling Green. She is a member of North Bowling Green Church and retired from Hills Pet Food. Julia was preceded in death by her mother and father: Lona and Elmer Howard, two brothers: Jason Howard and Jim Howard, and two sisters: Mary Lou Howard and Virginia Yancey. Julia Ellen Ground is survived by her husband: Michael Ground, daughter Cherie Madison, son-in-law: Bobby Madison and two grandchildren: Paige and Ethan. The Visitation for Julia will be held Saturday October 1, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane Bowling Green). The funeral service that will Celebrate Julia's life will be held on Saturday October 1, 2016 at 4:00 PM at the Cone Funeral Home Chapel in Bowling Green, KY. A Private Burial will be in the 3 Forks Ground Family Cemetery in Smiths, Grove, KY at a later date.
