Jose Castillo, Jr. , age 28, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Sunday, April 4th, 2021 in Bowling Green, KY. Jose was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Nicolas Lucero. Jose is survived by his daughter; Ella Rose Castillo, parents; Jose and Leticia Castillo, sisters; Nancy Puente, Luz Hernandez, and Mayra Trujillo, paternal grandparents; Macario and Modesta Castillo, maternal grandmother; Magdalena Lucero. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Misael, Lazarito, Keila and Israel Hernandez, Abigail, David, Isacc, and Elizabeth Puente, Cristal and Marina Trujillo. A host of beloved aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Jose was a 2012 graduate of Bowling Green High School. He loved his job laying wood flooring and enjoyed sports. He was a down to earth simple and funny guy and liked to clown around with others. He was a very humble and honest person. Jose loved his daughter and family dearly. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Funeral services for Jose Castillo will be Thursday, April 8th 2021 at 12 noon with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am Thursday April 8th 2021 until time of service at noon. You may offer your condolences on this page.
