Jon Wallen

Jon C. Wallen, 68 of Oakland, Ky died Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Medical Center. He was the son of the late Lummie Wallen and Helena Todd Mortimer. Mr. Wallen was a parole officer. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William, a sister, Cheryle and his father in law, Billie Hall. Jon is survived by his wife, Kathy Wallen; his daughter, Heather (Chad) Henke; grandchildren, Adam (Wynter) Henke and Isabella (fiancé, Jonathan Bell) Henke and a great grandchild, Luna Henke; brothers, Ray (Alecia) Wallen and Keith Wallen. Other survivors include: his stepsons, Daniel (Casey) Cartmill and Adam (Tammy) Cartmill; step grandchildren: Taylor Spears, Tate, Bradan & Savannah Cartmill; Tyler Morgan and his daughter, Hayleigh Morgan; Chelsea Morgan (fiancé, Jake Fleming) and her son, Jacob; brother in laws: Ricky (Sheila) Hall, Randy (Debbie) Hall and Gary (Marcia) Hall and his mother in law, Frankie Hall. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Wallen chose cremation. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Cone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
