Jonelle Howard Alexander, 87 of Bowling Green died Dec. 9, 2018 at Hospice of Southern Ky. The Warren Co. native was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mabel White Howard. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and was preceded in death by her husband, William Lendol Alexander. Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker, member of Greenwood Park Church of Christ and owned a frame shop. She enjoyed being an antique dealer, decorator and loved crafting as well as being a talented singer. She often sang at local events, at Van Meter Auditorium and at Goodnight Auditorium in Franklin, Ky. Jonelle was a past president of the AFLCIO in Glasgow representing Mallory Capacitor and was one of the first women bus drivers in the Warren County School system. She was an avid reader and UK fan. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her daughters: Linda (Lewis) Pardue and Beverly (Gary) Hatcher; her grandchildren: Shannon (Susan) Pardue; Bethanne Pardue and fiancé, Clint Wimpee and his children, Hallie, Coby and Alex Wimpee; Lindsey (Adam) Davis and Abby (Tristan) Elliott. Other survivors include her great granddaughters: Madison, Alexandria and Ellen and great grandsons: Archer & Cooper. Visitation for Jonelle Alexander will be Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 11 am until 1 pm in the chapel of Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane). Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 pm Thursday with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or to Foundation Christian Academy.
