John Martin

John Larry Martin of Bowling Green, KY passed away at his home on 7 October 2017 at the age of 74. He is survived by his spouse Phyllis Martin and his three children, Tina Reid, Eric Martin and wife Becky, and Vikki Monarch and husband Damion. John has 7 grandchildren: Kyle, Amy, Clay, Amber, Blake, Luke, and Colby. He has three great grandchildren, and is survived by 6 brothers and sisters. John honorably served 23 years of faithful, devotion, and loyal service to his country through the United States Navy. He retired at the prestigious officer's rank of Chief Warrant Officer-2. After the Navy, his second career of 20 years was with the US Postal Service. John enjoyed playing and watching a variety of sports. He was a faithful husband, loving father, and grandfather. The visitation for John will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:30 Am on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane). The service that will celebrate John's life will be held at 10:30 Am on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the Cone Funeral Home Chapel.
