John Horan II

John F. Horan, a long time resident of Bowling Green, KY passed quietly in his sleep early Sunday 12/2/18 at his home. He is survived by his sister, two sons, one daughter and two grandchildren. Mr. Horan was born in Jerymn, Pennsylvania in 1927, the son of a coal miner. He served in Europe as a rifleman in WWII. He worked for General Motors Corp. for 30 years and upon retiring moved to Bowling Green, KY to pursue the life of a gentleman farmer. He lived happily in Bowling Green, building his own home on his farm and raising small animals until just recently when age forced him to curtail such activities. In accordance with our Father's wishes; all services and funeral rites will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Alzheimer's Research or a charity of your preference.
