John Gluck

John Edward Gluck age 90 of Bowling Green, KY passed peacefully Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home in Bowling Green surrounded by his loving family. John was born July 10, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois a son of the late Paul and Lena (Uncapher) Gluck. He attended Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York where he was a violinist and opera singer. On February 22, 1958 he married Jane Austin in Rochester, NY. John was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bowling Green and had held many leadership and musical positions there. John was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Lena Gluck, his wife: Jane Gluck in 1998, a grandson: Tommy Gluck, and a son-in-law James White. John's life will be remembered and celebrated by: Chris (Karen) Gluck of Traverse City, Michigan, Esther White of Rochester, New York, Linda (Lester) Glotzbach of Rochester, New York, and Warren Gluck of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is also remembered by his grandchildren: Bridgette (Justin) Miller of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Dalton Gluck of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Stephen Glotzbach of Rochester, New York, Bryan (Cathy) Glotzbach of Rochester, New York, Wendy (Dasa) Sheffield of Rochester, New York, Sherri (Scott) Terryberry of Rochester, New York, Lisa White of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Michael (Nicole) Gluck of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren: Ryleigh Miller, Paetyn Miller, Emarie Miller, Parker Gluck, Kaylee Gluck, LaKiyah Sheffield, Kaleb Sheffield, Samara Sheffield, Gloria Terryberry, Daniel Terryberry, Destiny Terryberry, Christen Terryberry, Aviyah Terryberry, Micah Glotzbach, Joshua Glotzbach, Caleb Glotzbach, Timothy Glotzbach, Abigail Glotzbach; nieces Carol Tichy-Dean, Laura Tichy-Smith; great nephews: Jeffrey (Dawn) Dean and Michael (Miranda) Dean; life-long friends Ed (Carol) Couser and children and many other relatives and friends.
