Joe Reece

Joe Reece, 84, of Bowling Green stepped into heaven July 3, 2018 after fighting a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was an Army Veteran, serving 1953-1956. Most of that time was spent in Germany of which he talked about all the time. Joe worked as a welder for many years either as an employee or co-owner of Johnson's Welding. He loved hunting and fishing and he loved life! All who knew Joe knew he was a funny, loving man. He will be missed by many including his wife of nearly 61 years, Wanda, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Joe had chosen cremation and will be buried at a later date. His birthday is Friday, July 6, 2018. His family will hold a visitation to celebrate his life on his birthday at Providence Knob Baptist Church 5 - 8 pm. The family requests in lieu of flowers to please donate either to Hospice of Bowling Green or Providence Knob Baptist Church.
