Jessie Bratcher

Mr. Jessie “Willard” Bratcher, age 73, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at his residence.

The family has entrusted Cone Funeral home with arrangements.

Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 1:30pm at Cone Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 1:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Thursday from 11:00am until time of service at 1:30pm.

Willard was born September 12, 1950, in Bowling Green, KY to the late Clarence Bratcher and the late Elsie Mae Whalin. He is also preceded in death by his loving life partner of 53 years, Lydia “Faye” Cummings and a great grandson, Maverick Pierce.

He is survived by his children, Theresa Brandli of Melbourne, FL, Tonia Cummings of Bowling Green, KY, Dora Faye Cummings of Bowling Green, KY, Andy Cummings of Bowling Green, KY, Randall Cummings (Erika) of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Joshua Jones and Crystan Tippett (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Derek Pierce, Devin Cummings, Andrea Hagan, Maddox Cummings, Kaleb Jones, Paisley Jones, Bryan Ramsey, Noah Tippett, Zachary Tippett, Luke Tippett and Victoria Tippett; great-great-grandchild, Knox Hagan; sister, Francis Padgett; nephew, Wayne Padgett; great-niece Kaylann Padgett; great-nephew, Kendall Padgett.

Willard was member of Delafield Church of Christ for 20 plus years and a Navy Veteran. He loved to read his Bible, watch tv and go around in the community knocking on doors, inviting people to come to church. Willard was a simple man and loved his family dearly.
