Jerry Lee Hudson

Jerry Lee Hudson was born on January 8, 1951 in Bowling Green, Ky. and died November 5, 2020 at the Medical Center. He was the son of Hubert and Lola Hudson. Jerry has one older sister, Elaine Meinhardt and two younger sisters, Teresa Marie Kelian and Sheila Gail Madison. He had two half brothers, Eldon (Porky) Hudson and Edison Hudson. In 1966, Jerry attended a revival at the Delafield United Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ky. He was brought under conviction during the preaching of Brother Junior Skaggs and was saved on the mourner's bench at the front of the church. He was baptized into the church which later moved and became Mount Zion United Baptist Church in Warren County where he remained a faithful member until his death. Jerry became the sole supporter of his mother and sisters at the age of sixteen, feeding, clothing and defending them with unconditional love and courage. He lived with and supported his mother until her death. He doted on his many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a man, cheerful, honest and reliable in all weathers. He has gone home. Visitation will be at Mount Zion United Baptist Church on November 7, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 with burial the following day, Sunday, November 8 at 11:00 am in the church cemetery.
