James Brown

James Matthew (Matt) Brown, 46 of Scottsville, Ky passed away Friday morning February 1, 2019 in Ashland City, TN. Matt was born March 20, 1972 in Bowling Green, Ky. He was the fourth son to James (Bill) and Joyce Brown of Scottsville, Ky. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1991, and was currently employed by Ryder in Nashville, Tn. He was also a member of the Patawomeck Indian Tribe. Matt enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family, and friends. He always brightened everyone's day with a big smile on his face. Matt was the father of Katlin Brown of Cincinnati, Oh. , Preston Brown and Kayla McCoy both of Hodgenville, Ky; two brothers, Greg (Yankee) Brown of Bowling Green, Ky. , Jeff (Lynn) Brown of Alvaton, Ky; one sister, Teresa (Jason) Cartmill of Scottsville, Ky and several nieces and nephews all whom he loved dearly. He was also loved by his girlfriend, Patricia of Ashland City, Tn. Matt was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Timothy William Brown. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday February 8, 2019 at 1:00 at Cone Funeral Home in Bowling Green, Ky. with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00.
