James Frederick Bond of Etoile, KY, was born to the late Frederick Charles Bond and Sara Bond on June 23, 1953, in Macon, GA, and died on July 17, 2022, in The Medical Center at Bowling Green. James is survived by his heart companion, Robin Huff, and his adoptive children, Hannah Medley (Jonathan), Amanda Farmer (Charles), Gene Huff (Alicia), and Riley Huff (Jennifer), along with twenty-six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sara R. “Becky” Bond; three nieces and nephews, Heather Grahek (Garrett), Sara Cavanagh (Sean), and Jacob Goodwin (Melinda); and four great nieces and nephews, Olivia Grahek, Odin Grahek, Levi Goodwin, and Annabell Goodwin. James was a simple man who was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also loved to host family and friends for barbeque and visiting. He was a kind caretaker for Robin until his health required focused care by Hannah and family. His big heart will be missed. The family has entrusted Mr. Bond’s care to Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Ln) and chosen cremation. The family will host a private celebration of life at a later date.
