Gerald "Jerry" Haverstick, born on September 2, 1950, in Blackwell, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Jerry was a vibrant soul, known for his adventurous spirit and deep affection for his family. He had an undeniable passion for riding his beloved Harley, always seeking the thrill of the open road. His love for life was further expressed through playful afternoons spent with his cherished Jack Russell dogs, where his infectious joy radiated to all around him. He was also employed at the Corvette Plant since 1981, and he was a proud member of the UAW.

Above all, Jerry's heart was filled with love for his granddaughter, Taylor Paige Thomas. Their bond was one of warmth and laughter, a testament to the joy he found in family.

Jerry found his soulmate in Carol Haverstick, whom he married on October 30, 1971, in DeSoto, Missouri. Their partnership was marked by deep love and mutual respect, as she was truly the love of his life.

In addition to Carol, Jerry is survived by their child, David (Kristina) Thomas, and his sister, Rebecca (Robert) Rieger. Each of them carries a part of his vibrant spirit and will hold him closely in their hearts.

Following his wishes, cremation was chosen, and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date to honor the warm and spirited life that Jerry led. Those who knew him will remember him for his zest for life, his unwavering loyalty to his family, and the countless moments of joy he brought to those around him. Jerry Haverstick will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and adventure will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
