Garry Joe Arnold of Knobel, AR passed away on July 17,2023 in Rutherford County. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lula Tinker Arnold; his wife of 57 years, Patricia Ann Fairchild Arnold; and his siblings, Don Arnold, Wanda Barnett, Lucille Archer, Polly Hanner, Kay Jarrett, and his twin, Jerry Jack Arnold. Garry is survived by his children, Demetra Duncan (Billy), Gregory Arnold (Lesley), Natalie Sellers (Michael), Tammy Givens (Chris), Vanessa Embry (Craig), Timothy Arnold (Carrie); Grandchildren, Monica Simmons (Corey), Eric Arnold (Cierra), Emily Miller (Nick), Aaron Duncan (Amber), Kyle Arnold (Kelly), Matthew Hughes (Hannah), Courtney Clubb (Caleb), Jon Hughes, Zach Hughes, Allison Sellers, Izaya Givens, Levi Givens, Gabe Givens, Naomi Givens, Ethan Embry, Mason Embry, Warren Embry, Parker Embry; Great-grandchildren, Autumn and Sawyer Simmons Clayton, Bryson, Gibson, Rose, Jacey, Charlea Arnold Chloe & Elliot Miller Lilly & Wyatt Hughes Memphis and Darla Jo Duncan. Garry served in the United States Army. He retired from the Corvette plant in 1998 after 30 years of employment. Then he preached the gospel in small Churches of Christ in Kentucky, Arkansas, and Mississippi before moving to Florida. He served the Lord in many capacities over the years including serving as an Elder for the Lehman Avenue Church of Christ. He could be found at lunch and possibly dinner at one of his favorite restaurants. He loved to talk about God, the church, family, where he was going to eat, General Motors, a good baseball or basketball game, and the army. He loved his family with his whole heart and to know him is to love him. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 5pm to 8pm at Cone Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11am at Cone Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Shandy Land Church of Christ Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Cone Funeral Home.
