Garnett Harral, 81, of Richardsville, KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 7, 2022, surrounded by his family. The Delafield native was born June 5, 1940, to the late Opal and Carl Harral. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Harral, and David Harral, and his sisters, Linda Anderson, Jo Ann Gilbert, Doris Peach, and Sandra Harper. He served his community as a skilled laborer and trade worker for many years. He loved his family and was an avid lover of bluegrass music. He was a longtime emcee of the Auburn Bluegrass Jam. Garnett is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Pennington Harral; their daughters, Teresa Lindsey (Scott) of Chalybeate, Edith Adamson (Joe) of Woodburn, and Rhonda Dillard of Plum Springs. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and special friends. Visitation for Mr. Garnett Harral will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in the chapel of Cone Funeral Home from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 9 am until 2 pm. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens Cemetery. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements.
