Gail J. Pratt, 75, was born in Allentown, PA, on January 2, 1947, and passed away in The Medical Center at Bowling Green on July 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Van Fleet and Ruth Alma Lewis Van Fleet, and her husband, Paul E. Pratt. Gail is survived by her daughters, Monica L Walls of New Mexico and Elizabeth Minton of Bowling Green, KY; four brothers and sisters, Kathy Vance of FL, Bruce Van Fleet of Florida, Patti Zen of KY, and Angie Barrintine of FL; along with four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mrs. Pratt grew up traveling with an Air Force dad and first husband before moving to New Mexico to live with her parents and her girls and then they all retired to Florida. Ten years ago, she moved to Bowling Green to live with her daughter Elizabeth. In Florida she worked in the Banking business before starting a manufacturing business with her husband Paul. Gail was an intelligent artistic person with excellent penmanship. She loved books and was a voracious reader. She was kindhearted, loved animals, had a good sense of humor, and loved to dance. She was a dedicated mom who worked hard to care for her girls as a single mom. Her departure from this life was too sudden and soon. She will be missed. The family has entrusted arrangements with Cone Funeral Home and chosen cremation. There will be no public services. The family has asked for donations to the Warren County Humane society in her honor.
