Franklin Cherry, Jr. , 50, of Bowling Green, KY, passed on August 26, 2021. Franklin was born on October 26, 1970. He was a farmer, wrestler, and a promoter. He was loved by his family and friends. He was a good person who loved to fish and hunt. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Mae Cherry and Franklin Carlyle Cherry, Sr. He is survived by his fiancé, Sherry Shields, three sisters; Katherine Cherry, Rachel Cherry-Amos, and Tena Harper, five children; Tara Harper, Ellis Harper, James Cherry, Jerrica Cherry, and Joanna Cherry, two stepchildren; Hanna Shields and Martin Shields, one grandchild, and one foster child, Trey Thompson. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Cremation was chosen and there are no scheduled services at this time.
