Frances Beasley

Frances Kay Beasley lovingly known as Fran passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the age 80 in Medical Bowling Green, KY, battling lung cancer. She was born on May 31, 1944 in Alton, IL.

Frances was preceded death by her parents Clara Drennan and Harry V. Evans. She was predeceased by husbands Mike Thorp and Jerry Beasley as well her brothers Robert Evans Harry Evans, Richard Evans and sisters Betty Knoche, Zelle "Dot" Layton, Mary Burden Doeller.

Frances is survived her four children: Lloyd Thorp of Sorento, IL; Timothy Thorp (Antoinette) of Bowling Green, KY ; Ronald Thorp (Crystal) of Mt Washington, KY; and Crystal Huffman (Joshua) Lincoln, AL. She's also remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Throughout life, Frances shared a special bond with her family and friends. She had a nurturing spirit and a zest for life that was contagious to those around her. for her adventurous soul and love for travel, Frances cherished making memories with her loved ones. Her passion for exploring new places and sharing experiences with family and friends will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

A celebration of Frances' will be held at two separate gatherings to honor the remarkable woman she was. The celebration will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024  at 1pm in the Bowling Green area. The second gathering will be on Sunday August 25th at the Moose Lodge in Edwardsville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, a fund is being set up for a Remembrance Gazebo, small Garden and Fountain in memory of Frances. Details for donations will be posted shortly for those who wish to contribute.

Frances Kay Beasley touched many lives her kindness and adventurous spirit. Her legacy will live on through the memories shared all who had the privilege of knowing her.
